These cookies are actually more add-ins than batter. Thus, their name, Chocolate Chunkers, is quite accurate.
They didn't look much different before they went in the oven
than when they came out
I didn't have the amount of bittersweet chocolate so I just made up the difference with semi-sweet. I didn't have any white chips, so I just subb'd semi-sweet chips. I had exactly one cup of walnuts, so I threw these in. DH does not like raisins in cookies, so left those out. So basically this is are Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunkers!

Yours look like little bundles of chocolate goodness. Gotta love the semisweet. I prefer it to milk or white chocolate, actually. 4 dozen means you can just have a little sample now and then!

Hiding them is sometimes the only solution to cookies like these. Glad you liked them!
Great looking Chunkers! I also got a lot out of the batter - 40 cookies to be precise. They are delicious aren't they!
I just wanted to let you know that I hear you about the increased poundage! I have to get a hold of myself. The cookies look really good.
OOh. I think I would love the walnuts in there. they look delicious!
Yes, the plate is pretty isn't it - I picked it up at a church jumble sale in Boston over the weekend. Am a real sucker for fancy plates and teacups.
I made littler ones too, I think it's a good idea! These are just too good!
your little chunkers are so cute!
Hey! I never heard of chocolate chunkers, something I will have to try at some point. I am not a huge fan of walnuts, so perhaps I will substitute with hazelnut. What do you think?
